20 WEEKS!!!!! Holy Smokes we're half way there!

Waist Measurements: 37" at the belly button

Weigh in: 125.5lbs according to the Dr.

Pregnancy Symptoms this Week:
  • Emotional

  • Short Tempered

Pregnancy first this week: Definitely feeling movement Tuesday April 14 was the first day that I knew for sure!

My Pregnancy Brain: Just really excited to finally be feeling movement. I can't wait until Paul can feel it to :)

Pregnancy Prep: Nothing just trying to get the house ready so the baby's room isn't storage :)

Dr Visits: Yep I got the results for the AFP test and everything came back normal :) other than that everything looks good and I set my official ultrasound for April 27th :)

Belly Shot:

What the baby looks like this week: From now on she will be measured head-to-toe, instead of the head-to-rump measurements so that puts her at 10 1/2 ounces now.and about 6 1/2 inches long — the length of a banana. Her heartbeat can be heard with just a regular old stethoscope now and not just the fancy doppler. She is swallowing and practicing other digestive skills, and can now produce meconium, which is essentially prenatal poop that sits in the bowels during pregnancy.

19 Weeks! Almost Half Way!

Waist Measurements: 35" at the belly button

Weigh in: ???lbs

Pregnancy Symptoms this Week:
  • Moody
  • Short Tempered
Pregnancy first this week: I Noticed my belly! wow its big already!

My Pregnancy Brain: I'm sad that the bubbles stopped. Hopefully I'll start felling kicks soon.

Pregnancy Prep: I ordered my first set of cloth diapers! they are so freaken cute. I cant wait to put them on our baby!

Dr Visits:None this week.

Belly Shot:

What the baby looks like this week: She is about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. She is now fully assembled; just needs some fattening up and lengthening out. Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear our voice now, so looks like its time to start reading aloud, talking to her, and singing to her. Oh yeah! Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting.

Shocking Bubbles

Waist Measurements: 36" at the belly button

Weigh in: 122lbs according to my home scale but I wouldn't trust it.

Pregnancy Symptoms this Week:
  • Moody
  • Very Emotional
  • Nose bleed
Pregnancy first this week: I've been feeling bubbles and little shocks. I'm not sure if it the baby yet but I think it might be.

My Pregnancy Brain: It been pretty hard for me to remember that I'm pregnant so moving into the new house has been interesting i catch myself doing stuff and shorting after realizing oops i shouldn't have done that, I mean its nothing too crazy, but still something i should have had some else do.

Pregnancy Prep: Starting to get stuff from family that is letting me borrow or giving me stuff. Its weird to have baby stuff in the house.

Dr Visits:None this week.

Belly Shot:

What the baby looks like this week: Is about the size of a baked potato, Head to rump, about 5 1/2 inches long and she weighs almost 7 ounces. Has actual cute little ears and working ear bones and can hear sounds through the amniotic fluid, similar to how things sound to you underwater.

Oh Yeah! A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around her nerves.
