And I was there to witness/ assist the process. She had been really fussy for a couple of days, just wanting to bite everything in sight, so today in the afternoon I had run out of Frozen teething rings so I gave her my finger. Well she bit down so hard that the pressure if my finger broke her gums. When I pulled my finger out there was blood on it and she seemed relived. Lets see how she handles the rest. Wish me luck!

5 Months

• Language. Baby Katelyn has been now began talking to her self, I can place her in her crib and she will lay there and talk herself to a nap.
• Motor Skills. She has officially rolled and flipped, this is very exciting, she is also sitting with less assistance but still needs constant support.
• Growing up. Food was introduced this month so far she has had the following: rice grain cereal, avocado, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, butternut squash and pears
• Focus. since she loves grabbing everything in sight she loves to pick an item and will not stop until she has it in her hands

Head Circumference:

• Language. Baby Katelyn has been chattering up a storm with squeals and laughter, she loves to talk with mommy and daddy.
• Motor Skills. She can now grab things and take them to her mouth she is fascinated by all her toys and is able to entertain herself. She has also learned how to flip over when place on her belly, which allows her enjoy tummy time because she can now end it when ever she pleases, she hasn't quite mastered front to back but is half way there. She absolutely loves her bouncy chair with all her toys, she has now learned to grab them and bring them to her. She has also discovers the buttons to play music, its hilarious to watch her because it still scares her when the music starts playing.
• Growing up. Baby Katelyn has officially Grown out of her 3-6 month clothing and has moved on to 6-9 month. According to her pediatrician she is the size and weight of a seven month old. She has also graduated to stroller with out car seat, this makes life for mom much easier.
• Focus. She loves all things that make noise and are colorful. She still loves her mobile, ceiling fan, lights and practically anything we place in front of her. You can actually see gears churning in her brain when she’s seeing new things and trying to figure them out.

my love for cloth diapers!

Many said I would hate it and give up after a few days! They were sooooo wrong!

A few weeks ago we had some plumbing issues and had to use sposies, since we could use our washer and dryer. It really opened my eyes to how amazing cloth diapers are. Within one day of using sposies katelyn was getting her first diaper rash, it broke my heart...next every poopy diaper seemed to leak, we rarely have blowouts with cloth. Lastly, I couldn't believe how much sposies stink, I assume its because of the gel. Needless to say we were very excited to get back to out beautiful, colorful, and fluffy cloth diapers.
